Subject | Telegraph Competitor Brain Imaging Study |
Date and Time | GROUP 8: Thursday 29th November – 8.00pm |
Duration | 1 hour |
Location | London Bridge |
Incentive | £40 |
We are looking for 4 males and females age 21 to 65 to take part in a group session about newspapers. These will be held in the London Bridge area.
Looking for readers of both digital and print media. This will require 1 hour of your time, during which you will view about 30 minutes of News Content Online. During the session you will wear a small cap that measures brain activity or ‘brain waves’. The caps do not generate any electricity, are completely safe and have no effect on the wearer. During the session, you will read the content through a set of glasses (similar to virtual reality goggles). While reading, you will also see a flickering white light generated by the glasses at the edges of your vision; the flickering light will be present during the period you are reading. If you wear glasses, this is not a problem as the ‘goggles’ can be worn over the top of or in front of your glasses. This study requires that we have access to your scalp. If you wear a wig, hairpiece or any other head covering this may be difficult, and would prevent you being included in the study. Please do not apply if you have had a brain injury or had any brain surgery. WE CANNOT USE ANYONE WHO HAS DONE A BRAIN IMAGING STUDY BEFORE. However… it’s OK if you’ve done other research before. Session times are as follows; GROUP 8: Thursday 29th November – 8.00pm
Once we receive your application, if you fit the basic criteria, we will contact you for further screening before you’re selected to take part. You will only be contacted if the answers you’ve provided meet the criteria for this project and we have spaces left on the group – if you do not receive a response then you are not required to participate on this occasion. |
