BACKGROUND
The aim of this research is to improve understanding of how drivers visually observe, process and reactions whilst driving. We are looking for males familiar with driving in Islington and those not. You will be given specific devices to do this research. The research will be held in Islington. MUST drive a manual car. How the session will work: The eye tracking glasses will capture the respondent’s perspective and sensors to show what they are focussing on while driving. They will then go for a 30-40 minute drive on a predetermined route using the mobile device (via Google maps) while wearing the glasses. Once the route is completed, they will return to the car park to have a chat and review the footage. The entire process/research will take a total of 2 hours. If respondents wear glasses, they must wear contacts on the drive and be comfortable driving with contact lenses in but not varifocal contact lenses!
