We are conducting a study to help understand people’s attitudes and feelings to taking part in a research programme which could lead to early detection of diseases through the collection of large-scale health data.The research is being carried out on behalf of University College London (UCL). The research will take the form of focus groups… one in London and one in Leeds. During each focus group, you will be invited to share your own thoughts and attitudes Each group will last around 1 hour 45 minutes and you will receive a payment of £50 for your participation. Looking to recruit 22 people – males and females aged 40 to 55 – to take part in this study. Once we receive your application, if you fit the basic criteria, we will contact you for further screening before you’re selected to take part. You will only be contacted if the answers you’ve provided meet the criteria for this project and we have spaces left on the group – if you do not receive a response then you are not required to participate on this occasion. |
