Project Everyday Lives – Banking – UK Wide – Ethnography in home – (Researcher visiting your home)

Our client is looking for participants to take part in an interview in your home – anywhere in London & South East about Banking and the cost of living nowadays.

Broadly the client looking for a mix of situations – and a range of different people,  some renting in Social Housing, Some shared accommodation, renting private, some with or without children, part-time, looking after kids, some cost-conscious, not much savings, some on UC, Some to be car owners, some not ages 22-36 living in (South East +London).  Dates are 26th Jan-28th March 2025.

All participants must be comfortable with the researchers attending your homes with many one or two researchers

Background:

A leading high street financial provider wants to genuinely understand the day-to-day lives of members and to do this, we’re looking for some people to take part in an in-home study, where a researcher working in collaboration with the Member Voice team will visit you in your home for 2.5 of hours.

What it’ll involve

If selected to take part, the researcher will need to spend around 2.5 hours with you. There will be nothing to prepare or for you to do, our team will simply have a conversation with you and follow you as you go about your normal day-to-day activities with as minimal disruption as possible.

The researcher will be accompanied by a videographer to film the session. If you are selected to take part, we’ll make sure you are comfortable with the conditions that are in place to protect your data.

The footage captured will be used by a leading high-street financial provider for internal purposes only and will not be used for marketing or advertising purposes – your privacy is our top priority.

We will be in touch if you have been shortlisted to take part. If you are shortlisted, we’ll give you a call to have a chat and provide you with more information about the project this will be a chance for us to get to know you more and also for you to get to know us and ask any questions you might have.

One session of approximately 2.5 hours in your own home, at some point between the hours of 8:30 am-8:30 pm, Mon-Fri. All sessions will take place between January and March.

The cash incentive paid by BACS is £200.00.

• Turning up for the interview/focus group on time
• if you have lied to qualify YOU WILL NOT BE PAID ANY INCENTIVE and YOUR RECRUITER WILL NOT BE PAID THEIR RECRUITMENT FEE
• Any wifi issues which affect the interview may result in you receiving a reduced or no incentive
• Using a device which has not been allowed will result in a reduced or no incentive Conducting your interview from your car will result in no incentive
