We are conducting some research on behalf of Ofcom, the UK’s regulator for communications such as TV, Radio and telecoms… on the subject of broadband internet.

The client is looking for people with various disabilities. Some people will be interviewed in the client’s office and some in their home. Please tell us which suits.

There are three steps to this research process (phone call + task + in home interview):

If selected, you will get a call from the interviewer to explain the research, ask you a few background questions to set the scene. This call will last no longer than half an hour and will be at a time of your convenience on Wednesday 26th or Thursday 27th June.

During the initial call you will be given a task. You will be required to complete a diary noting down the steps you take during this task, the reasons for taking these steps and any decision you come to. You will have one week to complete the task (Wednesday 26th June to Wednesday 3rd July).
Finally, the same interviewer you spoke to on the phone would come and visit you in your home (or in the Central London studio) to chat to you about your experiences. This interview would last for up to an hour (Thursday 4th July).

Incentives (per respondent) for the different stages are as follows;

Initial 30 minute phone call: £30
One week pre task: £40
Face to face interview: £50

Looking for 7 people – males and females aged 16+ – to take part in this research.
