| We are looking for 16 participants Male and Females age 18+ to take part in an Online forum for 12 weeks. Incentive described above. Up to 12 weeks – £200 for the 12 weeks. If the lockdown finishes before the incentive will be less.
We are looking for participants from LONDON and SOUTH OF ENGLAND. i.e. Reading, Portsmouth, Surrey, Kent. We are carrying out independent research to explore and understand how people are behaving, thinking and feeling in the light of coronavirus and social distancing. The research will be a way for us to hear about your day-to-day experiences and understand any impacts the pandemic is having on how you live. The research will involve taking part in an online community, in which you will complete a twice-weekly journaling activity, and interact with other individuals via online discussion boards and other activities. Your details will not be shared with anyone else participating in the online forum unless you choose to share these yourself. The research will allow you to share your experiences with us and others participating in the forum, and also to discuss issues as part of a community. You will also be able to download and keep your diary at the end of the forum as a record of your experiences. The research findings will help inform government understanding and potentially feed into their response. The online community will last for 3 months and we ask that you log in twice a week throughout the forum, spending 20-30 minutes each time completing the activities. As an appreciation for your time and contribution, you will receive a £15 thank you for an incentive for each completed week. For the first two weeks, we will ask you to spend a little longer on the community so that we can get to know you – approximately 1.5 hours each week. For these first two weeks, we will pay you an incentive of £25 per week to acknowledge the extra time. We understand that due to the impact of the coronavirus/COVID-19, this period may be difficult and that you may well have other priorities. There is no obligation to take part in the research but if you would be interested in sharing your views then your input would be truly valued. All email responses are checked. You will only be contacted if the answers you’ve provided meet the criteria for this project and we have spaces left on the group – if you do not receive a response then you are not required to participate on this occasion.
