| we are looking to recruit people to take part in a research project on behalf of the Food Standards Agency.
We want to speak to young people about the food they eat and their food behaviours. There are four main stages to the research and you will need to sign up to all four to participate at all. Phase 1: Online Community – Starting Monday 9th of September and running for 1 week. 5 activities posted online… should take around 30 to 40 minutes in total to complete. Phase 1: Group Session – a 90 minute discussion group on Tuesday 24th of September. A chance to explore what food means to you.
Phase 2: Online Community – Starting Monday 14th of October and running for 1 week. More activities posted online… again, should take around 30 to 40 minutes in total to complete. Phase 2: Group Session – a 90 minute discussion group on Tuesday 24th of September... talking about the future of the food system.
As a thank you for your time, you will receive £50 for taking part in each focus group, paid in cash at the end of each group. And you will receive £30 via bank transfer on completion of both online communities. You may be asked to take part in an additional fifth stage – an in-home interview. The aim of this session would be to hear how food fits into your life. This interview will take place on a date and time that’s convenient for you… at some point around the date of the Phase 2 Group Session (end of October). There would be an additional payment of £50 for this. Looking for 10 people – males and females aged 16 to 25 – to take part in this research. Once we receive your application, if you fit the basic criteria, we will contact you for further screening before you’re selected to take part. You will only be contacted if the answers you’ve provided meet the criteria for this project and we have spaces left on the group – if you do not receive a response then you are not required to participate on this occasion. |
