| This research is on behalf of the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
ONS are responsible for the Census in England and Wales – the Census gathers information about all people and households in order to understand the population. They want to understand what the public think of certain questions and language relating to ethnicity. The primary aim for research is to test how people react to a revised ethnic group question (and guidance) on the census. The project will be covering different categories of ethnic identity. Group 13: Mixed Ethnic 18+ Mixed ethnicity includes White mixed (White and Black Caribbean, White and Asian, White and Black African or any other White Mixed) or non-White mixed (Black and Asian and any other non-White Mixed).
