After School Activities (Mums – South London)

The research will comprise of a small group discussion on Tuesday 22nd January at the times above, lasting 90 minutes. You will be given £50 as a thank you for taking part in the discussion which will be paid to you at the end of the session. The session will take place in a central location.

This research will inform a campaign run by an advertising agency. This campaign will be aimed at mums/parents who send their children to an after-school club (e.g. a social club like brownies or scouts, an activity club like a performing arts club, a sports club, a language club or a religious club such as a Sunday School, Madrassah or Hebrew School).

We are speaking to mums in different parts of the country and from different backgrounds in order to ensure we understand the full range of views and experiences of the decision-making process when mums are choosing a place to send their children. You will be in a group with other mums who send their children to similar after-school clubs so that you can share and compare your experiences which might be unique to this type of activity.

For this part of the study we’re looking for people living in South London.

Group 2: Non-religious Mums – 5.45pm

• Females aged 25 to 45
• Must have at least one child aged 10 to 14
• Children must not do any kind of religious activities outside of school

Group 4:  Christian Mums – 7.30pm

• Females aged 25 to 45
• Must have at least one child aged 10 to 14
