We are conducting some research on behalf of the Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG).
We are recruiting people to take part in a ‘citizen’s jury’ i.e. a day long workshop with a big mix of types of people, all to do with the social security system. We’re looking for a mixture of opinions/experiences of the system. The workshop will be held on Friday 29th November from 9:45am to 4:00pm at a venue in the Islington. CPAG wants to understand the views of people from a range of backgrounds with different experiences of the social security system. The session itself will be a mix of group discussions led by a facilitator with some experts giving their views on social security to understand which ideas participants prefer and why – and also, if the experts have missed anything that is important to the group. You do not need to know anything about the current system to take part, just to want to contribute your time and thoughts to this important work in an honest, non-judgemental way. Participants will receive £200, paid by BACS after the session. Looking for 24 people to take part in this research. If you’re interested in taking part in this project, please enter your details below, then click on the “Register For This Project” button at the bottom of this form. Once we receive your application, if you fit the basic criteria, we will contact you for further screening before you’re selected to take part. You will only be contacted if the answers you’ve provided meet the criteria for this project and we have spaces left on the group – if you do not receive a response then you are not required to participate on this occasion. |
