| This research has been commissioned by Sainsbury’s to better understand shopping behaviours.
To take part in the research you will need to allow our researchers to accompany you on one of your shopping trips in the Sainsbury’s Superstore Croydon, during the period between Tuesday 25 June and Monday 1st July. To take part, you must regularly shop at the Sainsbury’s Superstore Croydon. The shopping trip will need to fall into one of three categories (described below). At the beginning of the shopping trip you will be asked to wear a pair of glasses which have a small video camera to record where you are looking… along with a small heart rate monitor on your neck. These will help the researchers better understand your experience. The session will end with a short discussion. This will take place in your own home (if you live nearby and/or if you bought frozen or refrigerated items). Or in a nearby cafe, if appropriate. As a thank you for taking part you will receive a payment of £60 or £80 (depending on the type and length of your shopping trip). This payment will be made into your bank account through BACS no later than 1 week after the shopping trip. The shopping category applies to all the time slots on a particular day… not just the one it’s printed next to. When choosing your time slot, please pick at least one alternative time in case your first choice is already taken.
