We have been commissioned to carry out some research about rum.

The research which will take the form of a 2 hour one-to-one depth interview in your home.

Prior to the session you will be asked to complete a pre-task (taking photos and videos and uploading them to a private platform, e.g. WhatsApp conversation with the person who will interview you) about your lifestyle and habits. As a thank you will receive £60 for the interview and a further £30 for completing the pre-task.

On the day of your interview you may be selected to take part in a second piece of research. This will involve going to a bar/pub that you would normally visit on a night out/for post work drinks, and meet two of your friends. This part will take up to 2 hours.

The researcher will be purchasing two drinks for you all in each bar. You will receive a further £50 for this and your friends will also receive £30 each.

You need to be willing and able to commit to both parts to be able to take part at all.

Looking for 8 people – males and females aged between 22 and 35.

All must be of Jamaican heritage, drink socially at least monthly and regularly or occasionally drink white rum.
